Three Sentact Executives Named to Becker’s Hospital Review’s Patient Safety Experts to Know in 2026

Sentact, a leader in healthcare technology, analytics, and services reimagining the path to exceptional care, today announced that Chief Clinical Officer Dr. Nicholas Testa, Chief Strategy Officer Heidi Raines, and Executive Medical Director Dr. Donald Lefkowits have been named to Becker’s Hospital Review’s “Patient Safety Experts to Know in 2026” list.

Becker’s Hospital Review is one of the most respected publications covering the business of healthcare. The recognition reflects the leadership all three executives bring to Sentact’s mission of helping hospitals and health systems build safety-first cultures and drive better patient outcomes at scale.

“Dr. Testa, Heidi, and Dr. Lefkowits have each spent their careers doing the hard work of making healthcare safer,” said Daniel Hart, Chief Executive Officer of Sentact. “Their combined backgrounds in clinical leadership, safety technology, and provider accountability are central to how we help healthcare organizations move from reacting to harm to preventing it, and this recognition is a testament to the impact they are making every day.”

Dr. Testa brings nearly 20 years of healthcare experience to Sentact, including senior leadership positions at CommonSpirit Health, Dignity Health, and Providence St. Joseph Medical Center. Throughout his career, he has focused on building safety cultures where clinicians feel empowered to speak up, surface concerns, and take action before harm reaches a patient.

Following Sentact’s acquisition of Performance Health Partners (PHP), Raines joined the company as Chief Strategy Officer. As PHP’s founder, she led the company to the #1 Best in KLAS ranking for Healthcare Safety, Risk, and Compliance Management Software for four consecutive years, driven by a longstanding commitment to building reporting technology that frontline teams can actually use.

Dr. Lefkowits brings more than 40 years of medical leadership experience to Sentact, including serving as a former president of the Colorado Medical Board. At Sentact, he leads peer review with a focus on provider accountability and clinician education.

Together, the three leaders’ work reflects the breadth of Sentact’s end-to-end approach to patient safety, spanning incident reporting, rounding, peer review, credentialing, safety huddles, and predictive analytics, all within a unified platform designed to help healthcare organizations reduce harm, strengthen compliance, and drive continuous learning.
