MHR Orthodontics Introduces Spark Clear Aligners

SHREWSBURY, N.J., May 10, 2026 — MHR Orthodontics, the Monmouth County practice led by board-certified orthodontist Dr. Martin Rabinovich, has added Spark Clear Aligners to its treatment offerings, giving patients another clear aligner option alongside Invisalign and the practice’s bracket-based systems.

Spark Clear Aligners, manufactured by Ormco, use a series of removable transparent trays made from TruGEN polyurethane resin. Ormco’s published lab testing shows the material picks up less staining than competing aligner materials under controlled conditions, a factor that matters for patients who consume coffee, tea, or red wine during long wear days. The system also uses a polished, flat trim line at the gumline rather than the scalloped cut found on other aligner systems.

Most Spark patients wear each tray for one to two weeks and complete active treatment in six to 18 months, depending on case complexity. The system requires 22 hours of daily wear to track on schedule. According to the American Association of Orthodontists, more than four million people in the United States are in orthodontic treatment at any given time, with clear aligners a common choice for adults and motivated teens.

“Adding Spark gives us another precision tool for cases where the clinical picture calls for it,” said Dr. Martin Rabinovich, Owner and Orthodontist at MHR Orthodontics. “I plan and supervise every aligner case from the digital scan forward, and having multiple aligner systems under one roof means the recommendation comes from what the scans show, not from defaulting to a single product.”

MHR Orthodontics is also a certified provider of Invisalign, Invisalign Teen, InBrace lingual braces, and LightForce 3D printed custom braces. Dr. Rabinovich earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and completed his residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the University of Colorado, where he treated cleft lip and palate patients affiliated with Children’s Hospital of Colorado.

Board certification through the American Board of Orthodontics requires passing written and clinical examinations beyond the requirements for a state license. A fraction of practicing orthodontists complete the process.

Spark consultations at MHR Orthodontics are complimentary and include digital scans rather than putty impressions. The practice accepts most PPO insurance plans in-network and offers no-interest payment plans and Saturday appointments. MHR Orthodontics serves patients from Shrewsbury, Red Bank, Tinton Falls, Little Silver, Rumson, Fair Haven, and the wider Monmouth County area.
